The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

If you have a scheduled appointment or other business at the MTF, please verify with your provider or applicable office within the MTF to ensure there are no changes in schedule. To learn how the lapse in appropriations affects your TRICARE benefit, visit www.tricare.mil/shutdown

Behavioral Health Optimization Program

A program made available to all beneficiaries within the primary care clinics as a part of overall good mental and emotional health care. The purpose of this service is to offer assistance when habits, behaviors, stress, worry, or emotional concerns about physical or other life problems are interfering with someone’s daily life. The clinic is self-referral and appointments can be made by visiting TRICARE Online and selecting the appointment type of “Behavioral Health” in the “Make Appointment” module. Providers in the Behavioral Health clinic can help reduce a variety of symptoms related to chronic conditions as well as offer plans for lifestyle modifications and behavioral problems. The clinic offers classes on a weekly basis.  No enrollment is required for these classes. Simply check in at the front desk 10 minutes prior to the appointment time.
