The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

Laboratory

The 355th Medical Group Laboratory is happy to provide a wide variety of diagnostic laboratory tests to active-duty service members and TRICARE beneficiaries. We maintain the highest quality standards while providing the most accurate and cost-effective testing available.

Hours of Operation 

We are a walk-in clinic. Hours of operation:

  • Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
  • Closed every Wednesday 7:30 – 9:30 a.m. 

Lab Tips 

To better serve you, please keep these tips in mind: 

  • All patients must have a valid test order before collection. Tests ordered by 355th MDG providers are valid for 60 days.   
  • Off base orders are accepted, orders must contain patient’s name, date of birth, provider’s name and signature, phone number, fax number, and ICD/DX codes. 
  • A copy of test results will be faxed to an off-base provider once completed. You must provide the fax number to your provider when sending in lab requests. Please allow 14 days after completion.   
  • Being properly hydrated will help with a successful sample draw.    
  • For fasting labs, please don’t eat or drink (water is allowed) for 8-12 hours before your appointment. Unless the provider gives other instructions, patients should continue taking their medications, as prescribed, before having blood drawn.   
  • Confidence checks are ordered by the PCM/clinic. 
    • For Peds/Family Health/Operational Medicine, please walk into the clinic for a confidence check, the provider will order your labs. 
    • For Flight Medicine/Flyers, please walk into the clinic for a confidence check, the provider will order your labs. 
  • Specialized tests are shipped to outside facilities and can take 7-10 days to process.   
  • Please be prepared to provide a urine specimen.   
  • Pending labs can be reviewed by checking the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal before coming to the laboratory.    
  • Results can be accessed by logging on to the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal or through the medical records department at 520-228-2816. The laboratory doesn’t print or discuss patient results.
